Situation
Last year, Bridgewater had a huge advantage in what was around him as Carr had absolutely nothing. There are starting receivers on the Raiders last year that can barely get on the field this year. One of them has yet to be on the active roster for a game this season as the Raiders are closing the gap there.
But Bridgewater still has the advantage there with the best running back in the game behind him. Raiders running back Latavius Murray is coming along well but Peterson is on another level. These quarterbacks have two of the best rookie receivers in the NFL catching their passes too.
Bridgewater has also had a stable coaching situation with one of the best offensive coordinators in NFL history. This is not to say that Raiders offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave is bad but the resumes don’t compare. Carr is also playing for his third head coach in a year-and-half but at least they have it right this time.
