Bottom line

Carr and Bridgewater are the two best quarterback prospects in the 2014 NFL Draft with Blake Bortles creeping up on Bridgwater. But Carr, halfway into their sophomore and big-jump seasons, is on another level. Bridgewater is playing like the future franchise quarterback that he is while Carr is playing like an elite quarterback.

Only Tom Brady has outplayed Carr over the last three games as he’s averaged 307 yards per game, thrown 10 TDs to one INT. That’s why the same people in the media that gave Bridgewater the praise last year are now giving it to Carr now. At 4-4, the Raiders are only one game out of the wild-card spot and Carr is the biggest reason.

The Raiders don’t have the best running back in the world and they aren’t very good on defense. Carr put the Raiders on his back and carried them for all four of their wins this season. As bad as the Raiders secondary has been so far this year, when they play the Vikings Sunday, the Vikings will lean heavily on Peterson.
