B.
The days of simply running the ball up the middle, to beat the Cleveland Browns are supposed to be over. Nose tackle Danny Shelton, a 6’2″, 340-pounder, was taken No. 12 overall to put an end to those days. But those days haven’t ended as Shelton wasn’t very good at the beginning of the year.

However, he has improved as he looks like he’s getting used to playing against players as strong as he is. He just needs help around him now as the Browns still have the worst run defense in the NFL. He’s doing a much better job of anchoring while occupying double teams these days.

But one things we’re not seeing was the pass-rush ability that we saw out of him in college. His immediate impact may not be the greatest but it’s easy to see that he’s getting there and will be there soon. It usually takes a while for a nose tackle to become the dominant player his team wants him to be.
. NT. Cleveland Browns. DANNY SHELTON
