Kansas City Chiefs. MARCUS PETERS. A.
Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters should have been a Top-10 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was the best cornerback coming out but some off-the-field troubles led to him taking a slide. But like many rookie corners, Peters had his moments but didn’t look like a shut-down corner early in the season.

He did make immediate impact, intercepting a pass on his first play as an NFL player. Then in the second game of his NFL career, he intercepted Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and returned it for a touchdown. But Peters has been relentlessly attacked and gotten beat too often, many of them for touchdowns.

But at the same time, he’s among the league’s leaders in interceptions and pass breakups. And he has improved in coverage, taking less chances as he is now the No. 4-ranked rookie corner in the NFL. You can tell by his physicality, ball-skills and short memory that he’s going to get there, making this is a good pick.
. CB
