CEDRIC OGBUEHI. I.
As you can see, Cincinnati Bengals are locked, loaded and playing very well so far this season. However, the contracts of tackles Andrew Whitworth and Andre Smith’s will be up at the end of this season. And Cedric Ogbuehi, out of Texas A&M, was one of, if not the most talented left tackle in the 2015 NFL Draft.

So the Bengals took him No, 21 overall despite the fact that Ogbuehi tore his ACL last season. And right now, he’s on the reserve/PUP list, where there is not plan for him to play this year. His upside is so great, that the Bengals took him in the first round to give him a red-shirt year to heal and develop.

So if Whitworth, who’s getting older, is too rich for the Bengals blood after this year, they have replacement plan in place. Jake Fisher is their 2nd-round pick in case Smith leaves too to show just how much the Bengals are prepared for the future. But we’ll see when he plays next year just how the team planned this out.
. OT. Cincinnati Bengals
