Dallas Cowboys. BYRON JONES. A.
Part of the Dallas Cowboys great offseason and was taking corner Bryon Jones at No. 27 overall. It’s hard to crack the starting lineup on a championship contender but Jones does have a role. With all of his versatility, he plays in sub-packages as a defensive back, no matter the position.

The Cowboys have asked him to cover the slot and tight ends in the nickel and dime packages. He’s even had to fill in briefly at safety at times if there’s an injury of some sort at the position. And with his size and athleticim, he’s excelled at everything the Cowboys coaching staff has asked of him coverage-wise.

He has shown the speed and athleticm to cover receivers and the strength to cover tight ends. He isn’t the greatest in run support but that’s not the reason the Cowboys took him in the first round. This is a good pick Cowboys fans can look forward to turning into much more than what he is already.
. CB
