In the 2015 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers were looking to add depth at the corner position. So with No. 30 overall pick, they selected Damarious Randall and in the second round, they took Quentin Rollins. So far, especially with Randall, the Packers couldn’t be any happier with how well it has worked out.

Drafting this low usually means teams are drafting for depth or to develop behind an older player. But in today’s passing NFL, nickel and dime corners are pretty important roles on a football team. And as a rookie, Randall has very quickly become one of the best in the league at it.

He’s already worth one victory as he saved the game against the San Diego Chargers with a pass breakup. He’s the No. 2 rookie corner in the NFL right now behind Buffalo Bills phenom Ronald Darby. The Bills found Darby in the second round so it only makes sense that the Packers could find a corner as good as Randall toward the end of the first.
. CB. Green Bay Packers. DAMARIOUS RANDALL. A
