A.
The New England Patriots took nose tackle Malcom Brown at No. 32 overall to try to replace Vince Wilfork. As of right now, we can’t go as far at to say the Patriots have replaced Wilfork. But the Patriots know how to develop players and they are developing Brown just like they did Wilfork.

Brown wasn’t so good at the beginning of the season as nose tackles often take a while to develop. But right now, it looks like he’s coming around as he has improved against the run and pass. He may or may not end up being good as Wilford but he has improved the Patriots run defense and shown some pass-rush ability.

His last game was his best as he had seven tackles, one for a loss with a sack to complete the stat-sheet. With Brown’s improvement the Patriots have climbed up to No. 2 in the NFL against the run. The Patriots now have that much better of a shot to repeat with a good run defense in the playoffs.
. NT.
