I.
It’s really too bad that 20 minutes into his first practice, Jacksonville Jaguars 1st-round pick Dante Folwer tore an ACL. As it is, their defensive front-7 is No. 9 in the NFL in sacks and No. 6 in run defense. So I can’t help but think of how much better they would be with Fowler able to play.

On offense, quarterback Blake Bortles and receiver Allen Hurns are starting to come on these days. Running back T.J. Yeldon looks like he’s the bell-cow back the team’s been looking for too. We’re still waiting on tight end Julius Thomas to get fully on track but he is a threat out there.

On defense, the Jaguars are No. 6 in the NFL against the run and are okay getting after the quarterback. The Jaguars would be among the best at it if Fowler were there to come of the edge for the Jaguars. It’s going to hurt for the Jaguars for the rest of this year but it will be a new day for them next year.
. EDGE. Jacksonville Jaguars. DANTE FOWLER JR.
