November 8, 2015; Santa Clara, CA, USA; Atlanta Falcons defensive end Vic Beasley (44) runs during the second quarter against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi

Atlanta Falcons. VIC BEASLEY. C.
The Atlanta Falcons saw edge-rusher Vic Bealsey’s athleticism at the combine and had to take him No. 8 overall. He was the most productive edge-rusher in the 2015 NFL draft, leading the 2015 draft class in college career sacks. So far in the NFL, he’s done pretty well getting after the quarterback.

He has used his freakish athleticism get a couple of sacks to go with all of the hits and hurries he has. But the concerns that he’s too light in the booty, making him susceptible to the run turned out to be correct. Beasley has not been good against the run but not to the point where Falcons run-defense has suffered for it.

He’s a Leo in the Falcons’ 4-3 under elephant scheme defense and a little small for the position. Beasley has flashed his pass-rush potential but the pick for the scheme-fit is questionable. Leo usually run around 260-270 pounds because they go against left tackles all day long.
. EDGE
