13. Washington Redskins- Tre’Davious White, CB, LSU

In-depth Scouting Report

Despite his recent run of success, Kirk Cousins is still far from guaranteed to be the long-term starter for the Washington Redskins. He has bought himself an extended audition with his recent play, but he has more work to do.

The Redskins appear comfortable enough with Cousins play that they’re willing to keep him around for next season. This means that Washington can use their resources to address other areas of need.

LSU’s Tre’Davious White is a physical cornerback who can match up with big-bodied wide receivers. The Redskins have a need at this position and especially someone who could work against the likes of Dez Bryant and Odell Beckham Jr.

Jay Gruden has shown that he’s on the conservative side in that he wants to establish a strong running game and play good defense. The Redskins defense just isn’t at the level needed to operate that type of game plan.

Washington’s defensive line has been underwhelming even after adding some talent via free agency. This means that prospects like Alabama’s A’Shawn Robinson and Penn State’s Austin Johnson are in play.

The wide receiver position is another area that could quickly become a need area. Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson are not living up to their contracts which could make them salary-cap casualties.
