player. 59.
After a good year last year, the Miami Dolphins signed quarterback Ryan Tannehill to a big contract. So protecting their huge investment should be of the highest priority to the team. We don’t know what the Dolphins are going to do about a coach in 2016.

But Tannehill’s contract is worth almost $100 million with $45 million guaranteed. Left tackle Branden Albert was given the assignment of protecting his blind side in 2014. But he’s been in and out of the lineup and not overly impressive when healthy.

Tannehill needs a left tackle he can count on so the Dolphins should address the position. And right here at No. 12 overall, Jack Conklin out of Michigan State is the right pick. In his matchups with Bosa, Conklin has shown he can be counted on to protect the blind side.

This is the perfect match of need and projected value for the Dolphins. Cook, his current quarterback, doesn’t worry bout his blind side at all when he drops back to pass. For the next 10 or so years, that’s what Tannehill would have to look foward to.
. OT. Michigan State. Jack Conklin. 12
