13. Kevon Seymour, CB, USC

USC’s Kevon Seymour is a talented and developing cornerback prospect. He stands out because of his combination of length and change of direction ability. Seymour is sure to show up on many draft boards because he checks off a lot of boxes for evaluators.

His length is the first thing that jumps out as he can matchup with bigger targets. He uses his long arms to attack the football at its highest point and generate pass breakups. Seymour fights through contact and isn’t afraid to battle for position.

He’s a little different than most long cornerbacks because of his change of direction ability. Seymour is a fluid mover who can adjust to many different routes. This means he can stick with the smaller/shifter receivers as well as the big targets.

Seymour is battling the likes of LSU’s Tre’Davious White and Florida State’s Jalen Ramsey to be the second cornerback selected. Florida’s Vernon Hargreaves III has a very strong hold on the top cornerback spot.

Teams like the Chicago Bears and Oakland Raiders seem like strong fits for Seymour. Both teams are in need of cornerback help—especially one with size. The Bears have survived this season with Tracy Porter and Kyle Fuller, but Porter is nothing more than a spot-gap solution.
