Ohio State’s Joey Bosa is the cream of this year’s NFL draft crop. There are plenty of other highly talented players but none have been as productive as Bosa while also possessing tremendous upside. It’ also helps that his ability to generate pressure on the quarterback is a highly sought after skill set.

Bosa is a rare player because he features a good combination of power and quickness. He’s a two-way player that supports the run and rushes the quarterback. There’s a little J.J. Watt in his game because he can fill multiple roles at a high level.

His quickness off the ball helps him gain the edge as a pass rusher, but it’s his change of direction ability that makes him so dangerous. He’s able to quickly adjust his route to the quarterback and slip past even the most fluid offensive linemen.

Against the run, Bosa uses his hands to create space and disengage. He’ll make as many tackles behind the line of scrimmage against the run as he will sacks on the quarterback.

The way things are shaking out, the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys might be the most logical landing spots for Bosa. Both teams need help on the defensive side of the ball and are trending towards a top-5 pick.
