2016 NFL Mock Draft: Week 13
Dec 31, 2014; Atlanta , GA, USA; Mississippi Rebels offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil (78) prepares to block TCU Horned Frogs defensive tackle Terrell Lathan (90) during the first quarter in the 2014 Peach Bowl at the Georgia Dome. Mandatory Credit: Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports
Bortles’ offense is already fully loaded with T.J. Yeldon at RB and Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson at the WRs. The defense will be loaded with 2015 1st-round pick Dante Fowler back too. The Jaguars need only a solid left tackle to compete in the AFC South.
So here at No. 8 overall, the Jaguars have to take a guy like Laremy Tunsil. His ability protect the passer’s blind side and fit in ths zone-blocking scheme make this a great pick. The Jaguars could very well be a team ready to make a playoff run next year.

It looks like 2014 1st-round pick Blake Bortles is going to be a franchsise quarterback. But 2013 No. 2 overall Luke Joekel didn’t pan out the way the Jacksonville Jaguars expected. Bortles needs better blindside protection so left tackle must be addressed.
After everything Bortles has been through, the Jacksonville Jaguars owe him this pick. Bortles has been sacked 89 times in the 25 games he’s played for the Jaguars so far. When he’s protected, he plays well and the Jaguars offense is pretty explosive.
