Washington State. Joe Dahl. 21. player. 36.
The Seattle Seahawks have to protect quarterback Russell Wilson better. A franchise quarterback that’s been to two Super Bowls should get sacked as often as he does. He has some explosive weapons he uses when given enough time.

The Seahawks look playoff bound this year but pass-protection will be their undoing. So they need to re-sign left tackle Russell Okung in free agency. And after that, priority No. 1 should be to address the tackle position in the draft too.

Washington State’s Chris Dahl is the best pass-blocking offensive tackle in the nation this year. He’s also solid as a run-blocker, coming from the zone-blocking scheme. This is type of player the Seahawks badly need if Okung stays not.

If Okung stays, the Seahawks will have two book-end tackles to protect Wilson. If he goes, the Seahawks just drafted a prospect that’s capable of replacing Okung. Wilson is priority No. 1 on this team so an Okung-Dahl combination would be best.
. OT
