So far, they’ve have given up a tied-for-second-most-in-the-NFL 39 sacks this season. Quarterback Alex Smith and receiver Jeremy Maclin won’t have time to do anything. You might see Smith carted off the field during the playoffs on a 5-7 step drop.

So right here at No. 22 overall, the Chiefs go ahead to get themselves a left tackle. Then Smith can go deep to Maclin when Jamaal Charles isn’t running the ball. The Chiefs have a good defense with edge-rushers themselves so 2016 could be the year.

After a horrible start, the Kansas City Chiefs look like a playoff team these days. They won on opening day, lost five in a row and are now on a 6-game winning streak. With one exception, they’re the hottest team in the NFL right now.

Remaining this hot will get them into the playoffs but they aren’t likely to go very far. Playoff teams usually have good defenses and good defenses have good edge-rushers. Amd the Cheifs don’t have the tackles to keep them off of their quarterback.
