15. Atlanta Falcons (6-7)- Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama

The Atlanta Falcons mid-season collapse has been painful to watch. Everyone knew the defense would have its share of problems, but the offensive struggles have come as a surprise. Those offensive issues have created a few more areas that need to be addressed in the offseason.

However, the main problems are still on the defensive side of the ball. This is a group that has needs at all levels of the unit.

A good place to start acquiring better talent is in the middle. Alabama’s Reggie Ragland is the type of player and leader capable of making an immediate impact. Atlanta could plug him in from day one and watch him make impact plays.

Ragland will bring a physical presence to the linebacking corps as he isn’t afraid to attack the line of scrimmage. He’ll help Dan Quinn establish a identity on defense.

Atlanta could also look at bringing in a wide receiver. Roddy White’s rapid decline has taken its toll on the entire offense. Opposing defenses have keyed on shutting down Julio Jones because they don’t fear the other pass catchers.

A playmaker like TCU’s Josh Doctson would be a nice complement to Jones and give Matt Ryan another reliable target.
