1. Tennessee Titans (3-10)- Joey Bosa, DL, Ohio State

The Tennessee Titans pretty much had the year many expected. This is a team with significant holes on the roster, but still showed some signs of promise. There’s some optimism for the future thanks to the steady development of Marcus Mariota.

Tennessee must ensure they continue to build the roster around Mariota, but with the No. 1 pick they have to go with best player available. Ohio State’s Joey Bosa is a special talent with the ability to be a difference maker on the defensive side of the ball.

He has proven to be a disruptive force making plays behind the line of scrimmage in both the passing and run game. Bosa uses a combination of quickness, strength and fluidity impact the outcome of the game.

The uncertainty surrounding the coaching staff means there could be a change in approach. Luckily, Bosa is versatile enough to play in multiple schemes.

Tennessee could consider upgrading the offensive line by grabbing Ole Miss’ Laremy Tunsil. This would provide extra protection for Mariota by forming a strong tackle pairing in Tunsil and Taylor Lewan. However, bringing in Tunsil seems a little bit like a luxury.

Lewan has developed nicely and shows signs that he’ll be a top-end left tackle for years to come. Tennessee would be better off adding an elite defensive talent like Bosa.
