The Oakland Raiders have stunk every since 2002!

The reason why that’s been the case is because the Raiders have had very little productive players. Legendary owner Al Davis was at the end of his life and he didn’t push the right buttons like in years past. His draft picks would go on to become draft busts and the Raiders just haven’t been able to get their heads above water.

But with the way the Raiders have drafted lately, big steps have been taken in the right direction. One of those big steps is the Raiders taking receiver Amari Cooper No. 4 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft. His 41-yard catch over Green Bay Packers 1st-round pick Damarious Randall Sunday made Cooper the first Raiders receiver to go over 1,000 yards since Randy Moss in 2005.

Cooper came back from being shut out by the Denver Broncos last week in a big way by abusing Randall. On the day, Cooper had six catches on seven targets for 120 yards and two touchdowns. So with two games to play, Cooper now has 68 catches for 1,040 yards and six touchdowns.

However, the Raiders lost the game to the Packers 30-20 and that will clinch a 13th-straight non-winning season. The Raiders have twice the amount of wins they had last year with two games left so they are building. The Raiders just need to bring in a few more players that can produce like that to have a winning season in 2016.
