52.
Offensive tackle Tony was Boselli was the 1st-ever draft pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1995. And they made their first pick a great one, taking the left tackle out of USC at No. 2 overall. He was supposed to be that cornerstone left tackle for years to come but for Boselli it only amounted to seven years.

A devastating shoulder injury led the Jaguars not to protect from the Houston Texans’ expansion draft in 2002. But it didn’t work out for Boselli and the Texans so he retired after not being able to play that season. If it did work out, things would have may have been different for quarterback David Carr, taken No. 1 overall that year.

But with the Jaguars, Boselli was absolutely phenomenal before the injury shortened his career. He was so good, he was just named a finalist to get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame with the Class of 2013. That’s because in the seven years he played, made the Pro Bowl five times and the All-Pro team three times.

The 6’7″, 325-pounder had those long arms edge-rushers just couldn’t get away from. And for a man his size, he was as athletic as all get out with a quick kick-slide out of his stance for speed-rushers. He was also powerful and a mauler, making him a road-grader in the running-game.
. OT. USC. Tony Boselli. '98. player
