Sunday Night Football: New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings team needs

New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings team needs.
The Vikings and Giants have had two very different seasons. Both have had some sort of success, but the Giants also seen their share of disappointments. It basically boils down to the Vikings were a very disciplined team where as the Giants made mistakes that resulted in a more difficult season.
New York was in a tough spot all year because the truth is this isn’t a playoff-caliber team. They’re only in the discussion because of how poorly the rest of the NFC East played. The Giants have issues along the offensive line, at running back and several spots on defense.
They need to make addressing their lack of pass rush and finding a safety able to hold up in coverage their top priority. The 2016 NFL Draft features several players that fit their needs including Ohio State’s Vonn Bell. He’d be the perfect fit alongside the big-hitting Landon Collins.
Minnesota has done a great job building depth and finding impact players early in the draft. However, the lack of development by Matt Kalil and Cordarrelle Patterson have caused major problems. Both are former 1st-round picks who just aren’t playing at a high level.
The Vikings should sit back and wait to see what type of prospect is available when they’re on the clock. They have a chance to add a playmaker like TCU’s Josh Doctson who could come in and make an instant impact. Offensive linemen such as Ohio State’s Taylor Decker and Auburn’s Shon Colmen also make a ton of sense.
