1. Tennessee Titans- Joey Bosa, DL, Ohio State

The Tennessee Titans still don’t officially have a head coach so it’s tough to really pin point the direction of the team. However, this is a roster that has several holes at key positions. They only have a handful of players that can be categorized as long-term starters.

This means the Titans can forget about needs and focus on using the No. 1 pick on the best player available. Ohio State’s Joey Bosa is my top rated player and someone capable of making an immediate impact.

He’s a disruptive defender who has a knack for making plays behind the line of scrimmage. Bosa is also scheme versatile which is important for a franchise going through a rebuilding phase. He fits as a defensive end in a 4-3, outside linebacker in a 3-4 or even as a 5-technique.

Adding Bosa would immediately make this team better, but trading out of the No. 1 spot might be the key to a quick turnaround. With Marcus Mariota in the mix, Tennessee doesn’t have a need for a quarterback and could auction off the pick to the highest bidder.

The pick becomes more valuable because it’s likely the Cleveland Browns will target a quarterback at No. 2. This means quarterback-needy teams may have to jump ahead of Cleveland to ensure they get their guy.
