Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas

Arkansas’ Hunter Henry is my top-rated tight end prospect in the 2016 Draft. He’s a big-time playmaker who has the potential to be a real mismatch at the next level. Henry brings a strong combination of size, quickness and toughness to the field.

His ability to quickly get into to his routes makes it tough for defenders to keep pace. Henry is able to stretch the field by attacking the seam or working along the sideline. This is a sound route runner who can create separation.

Henry also features a great feel for the game in that he can locate the open holes in a zone. He gives his quarterback a big and reliable target. His explosiveness isn’t only tied to his speed has he is also able to out leap defenders.

This allows him to high-point the ball and routinely win in contested situations. Henry is a threat to both make plays down the field and especially in the redzone.

He isn’t getting much 1st round attention, but don’t be surprised if that changes come draft time. This is a potential difference maker and arguably one of the better tight end prospects to come in the past few years.
