William Fuller, WR, Norte Dame

The 2016 NFL Draft wide receiver prospects isn’t an overly impressive group. However, there are a few prospects that have tons of upside. Notre Dame’s William Fuller is one of those players thanks to his ability to take the top off a defense.

Fuller is arguably the best deep-threat in his draft with the speed needed to outpace defenders. Throughout his college career, he routinely found himself behind the defense and making big plays down the field.

NFL teams are always looking for receivers with game-changing capable of scoring from anywhere on the field. We’ve seen players like DeSean Jackson, John Brown and Odell Beckham Jr. consistently help their teams win football games.

While Fuller is a strong deep threat he also is explosive in and out of his breaks. Fuller is able to quickly work out of his route which helps him create separation. This means that the defensive back needs to protect against the deep ball and be prepared to change direction.

Fuller is in the 1st round mix and could get a look from teams such as the Green Bay Packers, Carolina Panthers and Cincinnati Bengals. The Panthers make a ton of sense where Fuller could serve as a more reliable replacement to Ted Ginn Jr.
