52.
Blake Bortles, the Jacksonville Jaguars 1st-round pick in 2014, looks like he’ll be the franchise quarterback. They also have a nice offense built around them as they’re putting points on the board these days. One thing that’s too bad about the Jaguars this year is that they didn’t have 2015 1st-round pick Dante Fowler this year.

Remember, he went out with a torn ACL around 20 minutes into his first practice with the team. But Fowler bringing heat off the edge is going to breathe life into the Jaguars pass-rush in 2016. The rest of the team’s defensive front-7 is strong too so the coverage on the back-end is what’s needed most.

That leaves the Jaguars to take cornerback Jalen Ramsey from Florida State at No. 5 overall. At 6’1″, 202 pounds, he’s a big corner, just the way defensive-minded head coach Gus Bradley likes them. He still loves the bump-and-run coverage scheme he used when he was the defensive coordinator with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Jaguars are already very stout against the run, giving up only 3.7 yards per carry this past year. So Fowler coming off the edge and Ramsey in coverage could be what completes their defense. And with the aforementioned offense humming the way it has been lately, the AFC South crown could be within reach.
. CB. Florida State. Jalen Ramsey. 5. player
