28.
GM Reggie McKenzie like them big and he loves the SEC, (Tennessee) where he played his college ball. So in the second round, he gets both, picking 6’5″, 336-pound Vital Alexander from LSU. Latavius Murray, a 2013 (6th-round) developmental pick has developed into a Pro Bowl running back.

While he has Rodney Hudson at center and Jackson at left guard, the Raiders are weak at right guard. So they can plug Alexander in at right guard right away and Murray can run inside better. The pass protection will also be better in there as Alexander has spent some time at right tackle in college.

Right tackle Austin Howard was playing very well before he was injured and left tackle Donald Penn was solid too. So if they bring they bring back the same offensive line minus J’Marcus Webb and plus Alexander, Carr will be protected even better. And Murray will get his numbers up even more as he gets to run the ball better and more often.
. OG. LSU. Vadal Alexander. 2. player
