28.
The Raiders’ experiment with Webb playing guard last year was one that goes in the minus column. He was pretty bad at right guard and he was horrible when they put him in for injured right tackle Austin Howard. Khalif Barnes should have been the tackle in Howard’s’ stead but either way, the Raiders know they don’t need to kep Webb.

Menelik Watson and Barnes should be behind Penn and Howard at the tackles but more depth is needed at guard. And as we know McKenzie loves him some big men on the offensive line and he is partial to the SEC. So right here with their second pick in the sixth round, the Raiders take guard Dever Kirkland.

The 6’5″, 340-pounder from Arkansas is just the type McKenzie likes—a huge man from the SEC. The impressive thing about Kirkland is he as the lateral to play left tackle, a the position he played in 2015. There are a lot of injuries in the NFL especially on the offensive line so his versatility is valued.
. OG. Arkansas. Denver Kirkland. 6. player
