Soon-to-be ex-Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has been in enough trouble, right?

Maybe not!

His ex-girlfriend claimed that he struck her “several times” during an argument on Saturday night. The incident report on it was released Thursday by the Fort Worth (Texas) Police Department. But neither the Fort Worth nor Dallas police departments will charge Manziel with a crime.

According to the report, Colleen Crowley, Manziel’s ex, claimed the incident happened at Hotel Zaza in Dallas. He also claimed Manziel struck her several more times while he drove her back to her apartment in Fort Worth. And once they got home, she eventually ran to a neighbor’s house, and Manziel fled the scene on foot.

Crowley added that Manziel was acting if he were on drugs. But then, Crowley wouldn’t cooperate, not wanting officers to photograph her or any of her injuries. She would then refuse to file an official report on the incident or any kind of charges, while officers were unable to locate Manziel.

The Browns already revealed their intentions to release Manziel at the beginning of the league year. And the NFL has plans to conduct their own investigation on what may have happened there. So it’s going to hard, even for Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, to give Manziel and opportunity.

Manziel has gotten himself into too many bad situations in too short of a period of time in the NFL. Even if this latest alleged incident proves to be false, Manziel needs a break from football to get his life together. If the NFL doesn’t suspend him, the teams in it need to leave him alone for a year and make him prove he’s past his troubles in 2017.
