Cincinnati Bengals

Team Needs: WR, DL, S

Mohammad Sanu, Marvin Jones an Brandon Tate are all free agents. While none should command huge contacts on the open market, there’s a chance that other teams could pay more than the Bengals are willing to give, leaving an opening opposite AJ Green. Tight end Tyler Eifert and running back Gio Bernard are both talented pass catchers, but some talent on the outside is much needed if the Bengals can’t add anyone on the outside.

Three Options: Rod Streater (FA), Corey Coleman, Leonte Carroo

On the defensive line, Geno Atkins is one of the premiere tackles in the NFL, but his linemate Domata Peko’s play has declined. Peko is 31 years old and only under contract with the Bengals for one more season. His $3.7 million contract could see him get cut, or at the very least replaced by a rookie with more upside.

Three Options: Brandon Mebane (FA), Andrew Billings, Jarran Reed

In the defensive backfield, the Bengals face the rare task of having their entire starting secondary be free agents. Adam Jones, Leon Hall, George Iloka and Reggie Nelson are all set to hit the open market. The Bengals have plenty of depth at corner to get them through, but safety is a different answer. Even if both are able to be resigned, the Bengals should draft someone to groom for the future.

Three Options: Walter Thurmond III (FA), Vonn Bell, Karl Joseph

The Bengals could also target a linebacker, with Vincent Rey a free agent and Vontaze Burfict facing a three-game suspension to start the season.
