Jacksonville Jaguars

Team Needs:  OG, S, OLB

On the offensive line, former second-overall pick Luke Joeckel has been just good enough that he doesn’t need replacing. However, the interior of the line is in bad shape. Zane Beadles signed a five-year, $30 million contract in 2014 and hasn’t come close to living up to it. AJ Cann played decently in his rookie season, but better interior line play is needed if the Jags want to get TJ Yeldon going out of the backfield.

Three Options: Brandon Brooks (FA), Vadal Alexander, Christian Westerman

In three seasons, neither Johnathan Cyprien nor Josh Evans have developed into the safeties that Gus Bradley’s coaching staff was hoping for. Too often did poor quarterbacks have field days against the Jaguars secondary, finishing 29th in passing defense in 2015. An upgrade at either safety spot will help Jacksonville become more competitive.

Three Options: Tashaun Gipson (FA), Jalen Ramsey, Jeremy Cash

At linebacker, Dante Fowler Jr. tore his ACL on the first play of his first practice in the NFL. Getting him back will give the Jaguars an edge rusher who can get to the quarterback, but one player who’s essentially a rookie won’t be enough. The Jaguars should strongly consider drafting another linebacker and build the two as the face of the defense for the future.

Three Options: Bruce Irvin (FA), Darron Lee, Myles Jack
