On Tuesday, in the video made public by TMZ, Jacksonville Jaguars 2015 1st-round pick Dante Fowler was caught in an embarrassing situation. He’s actually standing there, perhaps being entertained, while two women are fighting. At one point in the fight, Fowler stood over them as the women were on the floor.

Fowler would eventually step in there to break up the fight but he took his sweet time doing so. TMZ originally reported the incident occurring at a Florida apartment complex on Feb. 1. And there were no arrests or citations made in relation to the fight but the NFL doesn’t seem any less disgusted.

An NFL spokesperson told the NFL Media, “These are disturbing images and we will review the matter.”

Fowler didn’t feel too good about it himself, saying, “I am embarrassed and have apologized for my actions to everyone involved. As a family, we have been dealing with this moment and the conflict that led to it since this occurred. This video surfacing is a sad reminder that emotions got the best of all of us. I take 100 percent responsibility for everything that happened.”

The Jaguars said,”Dante brought the incident to our attention prior to the video being released and was embarrassed and remorseful. Violence of this type against others in unacceptable in our society and to our organization. We will continue to look into the incident while offering resources and providing support to Dante and his family to help him through this private matter.”

Fowler already didn’t play in 2015 after suffering a torn ACL during the first day of rookie minicamp in May. And before he gets to play his first down in the NFL, he’s in danger of being suspended. Hopefully, since he didn’t physically participate in the fight, he’s not suspended and can learn from this before doing something worse.
