Can someone tell me what the H-E-double hockey sticks is going on out in San Francisco these days?

And Wednesday, San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke personally endorsed the return of quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Given that he hired Chip Kelly as his new head coach, that was what he always wants. A Spread Option guru like Kelly is perfect for a quarterback with Kaepernick’s skill-set.

Quarterbacks that are making the money Kaepernick makes while having the type of year he had in 2015 usually get cut. And the 49ers wouldn’t have any dead money toward the salary cap if they did so. But somehow, Kaepernick isn’t appreciative of what the organization is doing for him and he wants a trade away from the team he took to the Super Bowl in 2012.

NFL Media’s Rand Getlin reported Thursday Kaepernick’s agents have requested permission from the team seek a trade. And according to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, Kaepernick and his representatives have not yet received permission from the team to seek a trade.

There’s no such thing as a match of two people born on Earth being made in Heaven. But Kelly and Kaepernick do appear to be a good fit for each other on the field with the way they play the game. Plus no one is going to trade for Kaepernick, whose $11.9 million contract becomes guaranteed April 1 after the year he had.

Does he really believe he’s still worth all that?

Why doesn’t anyone want to play for the 49ers anymore?

Y’all need to come back home!
