With the 2016 NFL Draft just a few weeks away, here’s where the prospects stack up on a position-by-position basis.

This is likely the second to last updated NFL draft position rankings I’ll have before the actual draft. However, I don’t expect much movement from this of players as I’ve already gone through most of the top-rated prospects.

My rankings are based on my own evaluators which will obviously clash with rankings by other evaluators. The biggest differences will likely be with someone like Oregon’s DeForest Buckner who I have rated as a 2nd round prospect.

There are also several players I have rated much higher than others including Auburn’s Shon Coleman (1st round), USC’s Kevon Seymour (2nd Round) and Notre Dame’s KeiVarae Russell (2nd round).

As a whole, this draft is underwhelming and really lacks a long list of top-end prospects. Things should start to get interesting once we get out of the top 10. I expect to see tons of surprises and moments where everyone is scratching their heads.

This could also make for a low number of trades as teams might feel comfortable just waiting to see who’s available. The quarterbacks are the ones that may spark some trade action with teams potentially looking to get in front of the quarterback-needy Denver Broncos.
