No one lies more the NFL GMs during NFL Draft season.

But if there’s anyone that tells the truth during this whole time, it’s the team with the No 1 overall pick. So I guess we can believe the Los Angeles Rams will pick who they who they say they will. Afterall, they’re the one’s that paid the king’s ransom for the pick, not the guys interested in trading it.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, are leaning toward picking quarterback Jared Goff. However, a team source told him they’re also considering Carson Wentz for the No 1 overall pick. The source said one reason the Rams made the deal was to give the team a couple of weeks to decide who they indeed want.

In the deal, the Tennessee Titans sent the top selection, along with their 4th-rounder and 6th-rounder to the Rams. In exchange, the Rams sent their No. 15 overall with their two second-round picks in 2016. And it doesn’t stop there the Titans will also get the Rams’ 1st-round and 3rd-round picks in 2017.

Nine draft selections were exchanged in Thursday’s trade that sent the 2016 No. 1 overall pick to the Los Angeles Rams. League sources told ESPN’s Ed Werder that the Philadelphia Eagles were also interested in the No. 1 pick. So it appears that history’s most overdrafted position won’t disappoint in this year’s draft.

To throw my two cents in, the Rams would be smart to go with Goff as the No. 1 overall. All Wentz has over Goff is that he’s bigger, has a stronger arm and he’s a couple of noses faster than him. But Goff is more ready to go now, throws a better deep ball, and he’s more accurate under pressure, traits you need to win in the NFL.Keep leaning, Rams!
