This is the final top 50 ranking for the 2016 NFL Draft prospects.
We are just over one week away from the 2016 NFL Draft and it’s time to finalize my rankings. This list is how I personally rate/rank each prospect based on my film work. It’s a long process that started more than two years ago for some of these prospects.
There are several prospects that don’t appear in my top-50 that many others see as top-end talents. The biggest prospect I left out is Oregon’s DeForest Buckner. I have him rated as my No. 55 overall prospect as someone capable of making an impact but likely in a limited fashion.
He reminds me a lot of Tyson Jackson who has carved out a nice NFL career but never lived up to his top-5 draft status.
Check out the rest of this article to see what prospects I have ahead of Buckner. Also check out this link to see a list of in-depth scouting reports for the prospects on this list. In the next couple days, I’ll be releasing the rest of my rankings of my top 250 prospects.
Draft day is near which means tons of excitement and then shifting to a new list of prospects looking toward the 2017 draft.
