player. 54.
Throughout the offseason, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson has expressed his love for Carson Wentz. And he showed it by paying the kings ransom to move up to the No. 2 overall spot. With the Rams being set up at No. 1 overall to pick Jared Goff, Pederson is set up to get his guy.

Those that didn’t buy Sam Bradford’s re-signing as something that would stop this were correct. This is a simple case of new GM, new head coach and new quarterback to a team that’s rebuilding. Wentz has everything you need in a franchise quarterback from his big arm to his athleticism.

He just needs to go through his progressions quicker and develop a pocket presence to handle pressure. It’s also important that improves his accuracy when throwing the ball deep down the field. How long it takes depends on Wentz but all of his weaknesses are things you can coach up.

And Pederson is a quarterback whisperer so he could possibly expedite Wentz’ learning curve. Wentz will have a good offensive line and 2015 1st-round pick Nelson Agholor will get to play in a pro system again. Now, we are just left to wonder how long it will take for Wentz to figure it all out.
. QB. North Dakota State. Carson Wentz. 2
