The 2016 NFL Draft is upon us and things are about to get really interesting. After a ton of work I finally completed my Big Board.

This big board is how I personally rank each prospect and where I feel their value would make the most sense. There are a ton of differences between my board and others out there in the draft community. However, this shouldn’t be a surprise as most evaluators see prospects differently.

My biggest surprise might be the low ranking of Oregon’s DeForest Buckner. He’s my 55th ranked player and someone I obviously see as a major reach as a top-10 pick.

Buckner sits so low on my board because he doesn’t jump off the screen as a disruptive force. He’s a solid football player who can set the edge against the run and generate some pressure. However, he doesn’t have the burst to consistently generate pressure off the edge.

He reminds me a lot of Tyson Jackson who has put together a solid NFL career, but never lived up to the expectations that come with a top-5 pick.

With that being said, Buckner will be selected inside the top-10 with most analysts praising the pick. Only time will tell if Buckner can develop into a major difference maker or follow Jackson’s career path and fail to standout.
