Wentz’ arm strength advantage is overrated as Goff throws the better deep ball, connecting on 50 percent of them to 38 percent for Wentz.</p> <p>Then they make so much of Wentz athleticism with just a .05 faster 40 time than Goff. But Goff has pocket presence and escapes pressure better while having an accuracy percentage of 65 on passes under pressure to 57 for Wentz. There’s also a myth that Goff doesn’t make adjustments at the line, instead looking over at his coach to make them.</p> <p>But in the California’s Bear Raid Offense, Goff has plenty of control and there are pro concepts in the offense. Putting Wentz under the type of pressure both physically and mentally in LA is quarterback suicide.
