Oakland Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie has done it again!

For three years in a row, he has picked a player that will be a star if not superstar in the NFL. The first time I saw Karl Joseph on tape, I thought to myself, “How many No. 8s does West Virginia Have?” There was only one, he just so happen to be everywhere on the field, making plays for his team.

You can easily make a great case that he’s the best football player in the 2016 NFL Draft. But then, he tore his ACL four games into the season and I didn’t think he would go in the first round. I then thought the Raiders could take him in the second and but I kept hearing he was moving up draft boards.

I heard late first-early second so I never could find a way to mock him to the Raiders. But McKenzie doesn’t go by value, he goes by how good the player is and if he’s that good, he’ll take him. And if you’re a Raiders fan, you should be glad he thinks that way because he found picked a great player in the first rounds Thursday night.

The safety boasts a multitude of talents that will fit in with the Raiders or any team.
