This Raiders-to-Las Vegas-thing is really picking up steam!

But it’s just steam!

As the expression goes, “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.” but that’s steam we’re talking about. Right now, there’s no reason for Bay Area Raiders fans to worry or for the city of Las Vegas to get gased up. Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis pledged money he doesn’t have based on ifs.

Nothing in this world is impossible but if we’re talking probability here, we’re not talking about much. And if we’re talking about this move being imminent, we’re not talking about anything at all. He’s going to have to overcome just as much to get to Vegas as when he tried to get L.A.

As far as Oakland goes, Davis hasn’t told the whole story. He seems to be blowing off steam (there goes that word again) in frustration that he can’t strong-arm the city. He left out a lot of details that most people don’t know about and some details we already know.

And along with those details, he’s up against a lot!

Turn the page for a look at both.
