Monitoring the NFL Depth Charts is a fun exercise which gives you a look at what players are primed to see major playing time.

The NFL Depth Charts also give a picture of each team’s depth and the backups who will be forced into action in case of an injury. I started my analysis of the NFL Depth Charts in the AFC and only have the rest of the AFC West to finish.

It was fun working on the articles for the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans. These were all teams that had an active offseason and made some dramatic improvements.

Jacksonville spent big-money in free agency adding impact players such as Malik Jackson, Chris Ivory and Tashaun Gipson. Houston followed a similar path by adding a new franchise quarterback in Brock Osweiler. The Texans also brought in Lamar Miller and Jeff Allen to boost the talent on offense.

Tennessee’s big additions came through the draft where they added immediate impact players such as Jack Conklin, Derek Henry and Kevin Dodd. They also brought in DeMarco Murray to serve as the team’s lead back.

The Titans are looking to establish a strong running game in order to make things easier for their young quarterback Marcus Mariota.

This article will serve as easy access to the different articles and will be updated as I complete more team reviews.
