The NFL is on notice about Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles and his two receivers. Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson have already emerged as one of the best tandems in the NFL. The team made noise the offseason, improving their offensive line to get the offense going.

Running back Chris Ivory was brought in during free agency to help 2015  2nd-round pick T.J. Yeldon with the running game. But that’s not all as there is a forgotten man on that offense. Pro Bowl tight end Julius Thomas is coming back from a disastrous 2015 campaign.

He missed the first portion of the season with a broken hand and never could get going. He then got phased out of the game plans, signifying his first season with the Jaguars was a failure. Being the proud player he is, Thomas doesn’t want to see that happen again.

So he spent extra time with Bortles this offseason in hopes of establishing a better rapport. Bortles and Thomas are now on the up-and-up, getting all of the kinks and glitches worked out. And Bortles is pleased with the progress they’ve been able to make this offseason.

He told ESPN.com, “We had a chance this offseason to sit down multiple times, watch film and talk about things,” . “Talk about what he wanted from me and what I wanted from him and how we can quickly get on the same page to grow together.

“He’s been unbelievable. He’s obviously a freak athlete and he’s continued to prove that and make plays.”

Remember, during offseason and early camp practices last year the Jaguars raved over him. With some better health in 2016, he’ll be a big help toward making the Jaguars offense explosive. What they’re building over there on defense isn’t bad either so watch out AFC South!
