At 25, Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr no longer qualifies for All-Under-25 honors.

He made the biggest jump to year two among all of the quarterbacks taken in the 2014 NFL Draft. But he stayed at Fresno State for five years, going into the league at 23. So that leaves Teddy Bridgewater and Blake Bortles to battle for such young-gun honors.

Carr debuted on the Top-100 football players in the NFL a couple of weeks ago at No. 100. And now, he has his sites set on things that are much more prestigious than young-gun honors. With another big jump, this one from year two to year three, he’ll get to where he wants to be.

Carr will become an elite QB, compared to guys like Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and Drew Brees. That means he’ll not only put up great numbers, but he’ll win a lot more games in 2016.
