This a very look at a 2017 NFL Mock Draft which is just under a year away.

It’ obviously very early in the process but things are already starting to heat up for the 2017 NFL Draft. We are a few months way from the kick off of the football season where we’ll get a sense of NFL team needs and what prospects are starting to emerge.

The 2017 NFL Draft has what looks like several high impact players and already looks stronger than the 2016 draft. Look for the running back position to get a lot of the headlines with players like LSU’s Leonard Fournette, Stanford’s Christian McCaffrey and Florida State’s Dalvin Cook in the mix.

There are also several quarterbacks who could go in the first round such as Washington State’s Luke Falk, Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and Miami’s Brad Kaaya.

However, the strength of this draft might be the amount of high-upside edge rushers. My top rated prospect is Texas A&M’s Myles Garrett who has dominated so far in his college career. Someone like Alabama’s Tim Williams will get more playing time this year where he’ll get a chance to show more of his talent.

The order for this 2017 NFL Mock Draft was developed using Sport’s Illustrated’s Chris Burke’s most recent NFL power rankings.
