(10-6). Previous: . Denver Broncos. 13. team. 45.
It’s difficult to assess where Denver Broncos are as a team right now. They have Mark Sanches but won the Super Bowl without the greatest of quarterback play in 2015. But while the defense they have coming back is still great on paper, they lost DE Malik Jackson and ILB Danny Trevathan.

And to go with all that madness, the Broncos have the contract situation of Von Miller to work out. Right now, he’s saying that he will not play a down in 2016 without a long-term deal, nevermind the franchise tag. And without Miller, the Broncos can do okay on defense with Shane Ray.

Ray would come off one edge and DeMarcus Ware would come off the other in 2016. That’s not Miller and Ware, which is the combo that led the Broncos to the Super Bowl. The team is already dealing with enough losses and don’t know what’s going to happen with CB Aquib Talib.

Despite suffering a gunshot wound to the leg, Talib could still be ready for the 2016 season. But if he is found to have shot himself in the leg, he could be put in jail and-or suspended. The Broncos will be moved up when we know if Talib and Miller will play in 2016.
