Laremy Tunsil, a left tackle at Ole’ Miss, was looked at by many as the best player in the 2016 NFL Draft. But the leaked video of him smoking weed years ago caused him to No. 13, where the Miami Dolphins were thrilled to take him.

I thought he was all set to be a franchise left tackle but the team is staying with Branden Albert instead. The Dolphins are also staying with Ja’Wuan James at right tackle so Tunsil was moved inside, where he’s supposed to easily beat out a not-very-good Dallas Thomas at left guard.

But as of right now, all is not going according to plan for Tunsil and the Dolphins. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, Tunsil made enough physical and mental errors to be demoted. At one point, he gave defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh a clear shot at the quarterback.

You can say, “Let’s just wait until the padded practices start but he is adjusting to a new position and a new level of football. The former is the bigger of the two because he has all the natural talent in the world to be a top left tackle in the NFL.

It isn’t a great idea to turn that talented of a first-round pick into an experiment as soon as they get to the NFL. Experiments usually don’t work and it’s not like Albert is a franchise left tackle. The Dolphins had themselves quite and offseason but that doesn’t mean they could afford to wast a No. 13 overall pick.
