Is Aldon Smith That Stupid?

As it goes in this wonderful country, a man is innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. So I’m holding out hope that the video that allegedly has Aldon Smith smoking a blunt on a video posted on social media isn’t him. He obviously says it isn’t and I’m hoping he isn’ t that stupid.

Smith is already suspended for a calendar year due to multiple violations of the NFL’s policy on substance abuse. This is a young man that had 42 sacks in his first 43 games, before all of his troubles started. And after all his foul-ups, he’s a few months away from another chance.

But he smoked a blunt and posted a video of it?

Really?

He can’t be that stupid with all the money that pass rushers like Von Miller just signed for. He was better than Miller before he started getting into all that trouble but nevermind him, look at the money Fletcher Cox made for 22 sacks in four years.

All that money that could be had if you behave and you want to smoke weed?

Which one is dumber if he did it—smoking the weed or recording it?

Those of you that have read my stuff in the past know that I have been Smith’s biggest supporter. But it he really did something that stupid, I have no choice to be done with him as should the Raiders. I’m not a voice or hand expert so I can’t tell if it’s him or not in the video.
