How does Jared Goff look while working with the Los Angeles Rams 1st-team offense?

Jared Goff had a shaky start to his pro career by throwing an interception and exiting the game with an injury. This week is going to be important as Jeff Fisher has stated that he plans on getting Goff more time with the 1st-team offense this week against the Kansas City Chiefs.

At this point, Case Keenum is in line to be the Los Angeles Rams starting quarterback in Week 1 of the regular season. However, the Rams appear to be keeping open the possibility for Goff to win the job.

Los Angeles selected Goff with the No. 1 pick in the draft with the idea that he’d see the field sooner than later. The issue is that Fisher and the front office are facing pressure to win games now. This might lead them to give Keenum a chance early in the season.

Starting Keenum might just be delaying the inevitable and could take valuable experience away from Goff. Los Angeles could develop a game plan to protect Goff early in the season by feeding the ball to star running back Todd Gurley.

Gurley is going to be the focal point of the offense either way which may ultimately sway the coaching staff to start Goff out of the gate.
