15. The 2016 New Orleans Saints will play just will enough to lose a close game most of the time. That’s because they have a good offense to keep them in games but no defense to win it. The front-seven in particular is a big problem, not getting after the quarterback or stopping the run.

It doesn’t help that edge rusher Hau’oli Kikaha and interior d-lineman Sheldon Rankins are out with injuries. Rankins broke his fibula and could be back as soon as a month from now. Kikaha has no such luck as he is out for the season with a torn ACL.

You don’t know what kind of player Kikaha will be when he gets back so an edge rusher is a must. You can always use another edge rusher if Kikaha can make it back in good shape anyway. So at No. 3 overall, the Saints pick a great prospect in Myles Garrett.

If Garrett could have come out last year, he was good enough to go in the top 10. He’s good enough to go No. 1 overall now but the Top-2 teams need quarterbacks. So the Saints get possibly the best player in the draft to set their defense off.
. EDGE. Texas A&M. Myles Garrett. 3. player
